As we approach the 57th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act, the only constant is change: a new year, a new administration and new leadership at HUD and DOJ mean change is on the way. As managers, we’re responsible for knowing, understanding and applying the old and new to ensure compliance with the requirements of the FHA. One thing that won’t change is our responsibility to ensure that all our policies and procedures focus on providing equal opportunity for everyone looking for housing and equal enjoyment and equal access for those who have found it!
